1. Search engine ranking analysis prior to optimization, record search engine ranking statistics for future frame of reference.
2. Analyze the web site to determine which 3 pages will be the best candidates to concentrate full optimization efforts on.
3. Analyze the web site and associated business to determine preliminary keywords. Discuss the potential keywords with the client to ensure all important keywords have been considered.
4. Use a keyword analysis tool on the preliminary keywords to derive a good set of keyword combinations for use in the optimized web pages.
5. Develop Meta tag descriptions for the 3 main pages.
6. Create a Google sitemap and submit it to Google.
7. Incorporate the appropriate keyword combinations into the web pages within the following page elements:
   • Page Title
   • Meta Tag Keywords
   • Meta Tag Description
   • Image Alternate Text
   • Body Text
8. Perform basic optimizations on other web pages within the site up to a total of 6 additional web pages.
9. Add a web site link to VCP Internets Links page.
10. Submit the web site to the major search engines and hundreds of other search engines.
11. Submit a progress and initial ranking report to the web site owner’s email address on file as appropriate.

Wait one month then:

1. Run a search engine ranking analysis and compare it to the frame of reference to determine effectiveness of the initial optimizations.
2. Re-evaluate search engine optimization to determine weaknesses in keywords, then appropriately modify page element content in an effort to improve ranking.
3. Re-Submit the web site to the search engines
4. Submit a progress, ranking, and web site traffic report to the web site owner’s email address on file.

Wait another month then repeat the steps in phase 2.

• Modify the page title to include relevant supplied keywords
• Include relevant supplied keywords into the page’s “keywords” meta tag.
• Include supplied description text into the page’s “description” meta tag.
• Analyze the body content and modify (copywriting) as necessary to include relevant supplied keywords while maintaining the integrity and proper flow of the wording.
• Modify image tags to include appropriate alternate text and supplied keywords
• Run the page through an optimization analysis application and implement appropriate changes as suggested by the application.
• Verify and/or fix proper HTML structure
• Remove or fix broken links
• Cost: $200 for the first page and $100 for each additional page

• This is basically to ensure proper web page formatting integrity, which helps with search engine ranking. Full page optimization is highly recommended for at least one page on a site. This option should only be implemented on pages that are anticipated to be poor candidates for full optimization. It ensures that the search engines do not penalize the sites ranking for poorly developed web pages.
• Verify that the page title is not blank and create a relevant one if it is.
• Verify image tags to have appropriate alternate text and create alternate text if needed.
